“I have been creating art my whole life.”

An Australian based artist who, amidst the pandemic, founded Xela Creative Studio to help people get that piece of home away from home.

Once moving to Australia I started Xela Creative Studio at the beginning of 2020 and wanted to create something where people who were stuck overseas because of Covid could have a place of home away from home, or give family/friends a piece to keep connected to their favourite places. I originally created the Auckland, Wellington and Takapuna pieces for my mum’s business Oystercatchers NZ and she let me use the art further and that turned into what it is today.

People thankfully have been giving great feedback and love having some bright colourful pieces on their walls that are a little different to the standard landscape art pieces you can get.
