Join us at West End Art Space for the Grand Opening of the 2026 Biennale of Colour & Light, a celebration of contemporary abstract art and the diverse creative voices shaping abstraction today.
Now in its sixth edition, the Biennale brings together over 85 women abstract artists, showcasing a dynamic collection of works that explore the possibilities of colour, light, form, texture and materiality. The exhibition celebrates the breadth and diversity of contemporary abstraction while providing a platform for both emerging and established artists.
We are delighted to welcome Filitsa Giannopoulos as our guest judge, who will select the recipients of our 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes, including the opportunity to present a solo exhibition at West End Art Space.

Please note that by purchasing a ticket to the Opening Reception, you will automatically be entered into a random selection for the opportunity to attend artist Fiona Halse’s workshop, Ways to Access the Subconscious and Personal Abstract Form, held during the exhibition.
The workshop will involve a drawing and collage art making activity that focuses on ways to access the subconscious and personal abstract form. Selected participants will be contacted via email, with full workshop details provided once the draw has taken place.
