Britney Turner

“Each stroke of colour and intricate pattern serves as a conduit for the profound, inviting observers to embark on a journey of self-discovery and transcendence.”

Britney Turner, a visionary creator immersed in the exploration of spiritual themes, invites viewers into a world where divinity and femininity intertwine. With a focus on bold expression and vibrant hues, Britney crafts original canvas artwork and print art that captivates the senses.

“Being an artist is my favourite thing about my life. It truly feels like I am living out my wildest dreams every day and this is something that I am eternally grateful for. I feel fully embodied in being a creative with the ability to express my deep and meaningful ideas in this way.”

How would you describe the style and themes of your work?

My work is heavily influenced by life itself and all its parts. I follow my whims and what strikes my curiosity. My most meaningful works have been the result of channelling visual representations from my dreams and breath-work sessions. I have the ability to harness some abstract concepts into something that remains aesthetically appealing to mass consumers.

Are you earning from your art?

Yes. Having a print shop is paramount to having consistent and passive income as an artist. It allows for spaciousness to create more and alleviates financial burden to continuously be churning out original artworks.

What feedback have you received so far?

The reception I have had from my audience has been overwhelmingly positive and something I am grateful for each day. It’s one of the most magic parts of the creative process – to see how others receive your work in an emotional and meaningful sense. It brings me great joy to know that the works I spend many hours on are a contribution to raising the vibration of homes and offices.

Do you have a day job? Or are you a full-time artist?

I went full time with my art 2 years ago and it’s the best thing I have ever done! It’s hard for me to imagine working in another industry now.

Any upcoming projects?

I am currently working on some pieces for my first gallery representation in Australia. I’ve been wanting to dabble more in a fine art direction as I had created a reputation as more of a commercial artist, so this is an exciting side step for me. More details to come!
